The rotating stand

!

Take a look on the pictures bellow. They were all shot in the same place.

According to the Austrian designer Werner Hölbl who worked in OSI from 1967 until the company shutdown, "the pictures [bellow] were taken at the same place, at OSI Styling in Borgaro. The design and enginieering department and all the offices were located in a very nice Villa at Borgaro. Beside the Villa we had a quite big hall, where the modelshop and the mechanical equipment for making prototypes was placed. In this building, there was a quite big empty room with the rotation platform. The platform was electric guided and was ment for presentation of the models to ourselves, to our bosses or clients and other guests. We sat in a corner, and the car was turning around in front of our eyes. This gave you a good chance for judgement, because you did not have to move and could concentrate on the styling."

Press pictures color

!
Most of the pictures found on the 1966-1968 press are black and white but there are exceptions.

During the next days I am going to scan several pictures and place some comments.

This nice "Medium blue mettalic" is the licence plated "K - JP 917" that featured in a 6 pages article and cover of the 1967 Hobby Magazine number 6 and was also on the cover of the number 26 of the same year. The  picture on left was more recently used on the book "Cars and Girls".
