Rene Tippe - Holland - EX54GU02550

!

Probably the youngest OSI owner I know, the 21 year old Rene from Rouveen already had Taunus and Granadas.

There is a lot of work to do as the car already had three colors. Although Rene just bought the car three weeks ago, he already started sanding the car starting from the doors. There are parts missing, so if somebody can help Rene locating them, he will be grateful. He needs the engine (the original engine was 2,3 liter), the front grill and the instruments.

Rene will surely keep us informed of the works. Congratulations and good luck Rene.

Francesco's car is a 2,3 litre engine. It is only 60.000 Km.

Norway - EX54HB02637

!
Geir Andersen, from Norway sent me info about this car as well as some other OSIs in Norway.

This one was registered in Norway in 1997. It has the 2,3 litre engine although Geir is not sure if it is original.

Davide Maldini - Italy - EX54HB02664

!
Davide just brought his car home. It was from his brother who never finished the restoration. It is a 2,3 litre engine and it's original color was white.
I noticed that the Italian market cars had a different VIN plate.

Geir Andersen, from Norway sent me info about this car as well as some other OSIs.
These pictures were taken in a 2004 visit to Norway.

Karen Carter - South Africa - EX54HB02721

!
Yes, you read right. South Africa. Karen's father OSI is the EX54HB02721.

According to Karen, "She had been resprayed years ago, but there are patched of surface rust on the boot, roof and body in front of the windscreen. The only serious rust is at the bottom of the near side front mud guard near the door, but this is not structural. Front and rear screens are not completely fitted as the roof lining still needs to be made and fitted (correct punched material is with the car). All the seats have been re-upholstered in black stretch-back material to the original patterns. The motor fitted at present is a 3 litre Ford V6 (not running) and she will need a new exhaust system."

Roger Fischbach - Switzerland - EX54HB02734

!
Roger owns his silver OSI since 2001. The interiors are beige leather and he bought the car to the first owner.

The car was originally imported in 1968 by Fratelli Faroppa in Chiasso/Switzerland and delivered to the first owner by Garage Willfratt, located in the Swiss Capital of Berne. The car was repainted in middle nineties in its original colour and had new carpets in 2004. Engine (with 76.000 Km, 2.3 litre) and interior are unrestored and in good order. This is one of only few OSIs with Jaeger instruments and not Veglia Borletti. Roger and his car featured in the Italian magazine Ruoteclassiche 194 from February 2005.

Mr. Baumgärtner - Germany - EX54HB02735

!
This one was in the 2010 OSI IG meeting.
It has a Granada 2,8 litre engine. Note the aftermarket sunroof.

Vincent Stragier - Belgium - EX54HB02745

!

Vincent got his car from his grandfather after he stopped his business as a Ford dealer.

This was 2 years ago. The car was in a bad condition, and so were Vincent's funds (He was a student then). So he was only able to do the basic repairs (stop the rust from destroying the whole car/get the engine running/electrics). The original color was white and the engine is the 2,3 litre.

Now that he is working, he will finally get some work done on his car.

Chris Vancolen - Belgium - EX54HB02750

!

Another beautiful example from Belgium.

Chris' OSI was bought in the beggining of 2010 to the former owner (was already listed here). Originally red, the interior is black leather and the engine is the 2,3 litre. This car has a sliding roof that appears to be original. In 2006 I saw one unit in the OSI-IG meeting with the sliding roof and I think somebody told me it was a one off.

I'm publishing newer pictures later. Welcome Chris.

Heike Schiffer - Germany - EX54HB02751

!

The Netherlands - EX54HB02771

!
This car was imported in 2001 from Verona, Italy. The car was in a private collection since 1976.

The car never had any welding. It has the original Cream White painting with only small dents/scratches and the engine is the 2,3 litre. The car runned 83.000 Km and it also has the original fabric/vinyl interior.
